If you heard the cheering from our blue-and-black warehouse yesterday…that was JOFFIE hosting BOMA Greater Charlotte’s First Annual Panthers Watch Party & Chili Cook-Off, co-hosted with our friends at UMC, EDS Diversified, and Mecklenburg Paint. It was a perfect Charlotte fall afternoon- football on the big screen, crockpots lined up like a defensive line, and plenty of neighbors, property pros, and future friends stopping by to taste, talk shop, and give back.
The Winners (and the real MVPs)
🥇 First Place: Matthew Wilson (UMC) - a bold, balanced chili that brought the heat and the applause.
🥈 Second Place: Liz Etheridge (Mecklenburg Paint Company) - savory, smooth, and gone in minutes.
🥉 Third Place: Joe Rocheleau (JOFFIE) - smoky, crowd-pleasing goodness with serious depth.
Every spoonful did more than feed a rivalry- proceeds supported BOMAPAC, helping strengthen our industry’s voice. Community, competition, and a great cause? That’s our kind of Sunday.
